Time flies when you're having fun...

The one thng I keep hearing when Toastmasters from other clubs visit ours is how much fun we have at the meetings. We do work in a positive and supporting way in helping each other improve our public speaking and leadership skills, but we have plenty of laughter and good times (and good food, seeing that we're located in a JBs).

It's mid-spring and open house time. We have several speeches planned and it will be a wonderful opportunity to show people what an exceptional club we are, and demonstrate what a Toastmaster really is -- maybe not perfect at giving speeches, perhaps a person that lets out a few "ah's" and "uh's" when they speak, human, but getting better and better at speaking and leading in public.

It's worked well and just like that for me. If you put an effort forth, you can't fail.
